Yu-Gi-Oh! Hidden Summoners Booster Display 1st Edition
In Fall 2018, the next pure Foil set Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Hidden Summoners will be released, and it has 3 new deck themes with multiple summoning methods! Each deck strategy introduced with Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Hidden Summoners combines the flexibility of Link Summons with the raw power of a different Summon type. Here’s what you can look forward to this fall!
Holy Phoenix of Nephthys rises from the ashes and is reborn as a ritual monster! Both the phoenix and its companion Nephthys Butler make the leap into the new era. Both have a Ritual Monster based on the original card, but also their own cadre of Level 2 companions that let you destroy your cards to use their effects. Destroy another card in this theme and the second ability will activate in your next Standby Phase, granting you 2 great effects for the price of one. The Link Monsters in this theme are based on summoning multiple Ritual Monsters. One collects the parts you need for the Ritual Summon, or revives fallen monsters, while the other becomes stronger depending on how many Ritual Monsters you used to summon it.
Tiny pranksters who are up to no good! They may look cute and innocent, but the 3 main effect monsters in this strategy can combine 6 different paths to chaos. In this strategy, Fusion Monsters are used with Link Monsters and the monsters in the deck give you more material when you use them for Fusion and Link Summoning. Each of the Fusion and Link Monsters can be offered as a Tribute for a special effect. The strongest of them can be Tributed to replicate the effects of Raigeki or Harpy Batwipe.
Last but not least, zombie monsters based on Japanese legends manifest as a new Synchro Summon strategy. The deck uses the “Synchro Climb” strategy with a special twist: when you have “climbed” to the highest Synchro Monster, you are able to summon the previous Synchro Monster and use its effects as soon as the current monster is destroyed. This strategy can create all Synchro Monsters in one turn thanks to the receivers that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard. The Link Monster this strategy reduces the ATK and DEF of the monsters it shows to every time your opponent destroys a Synchro Monster – unbelievable.
