Questions and Answers About the Flash Box
Three random Pokémon Booster packs—one in English and two in Japanese—hand-packed right here in our shop. Plus, you have a chance to get one of four prize tiers, ranging from a Flash Hit worth over 30 francs to a Big Hit worth over 400 francs.
According to the product page, the odds for a Flash Hit are 1 in 10, for a Medium Hit 1 in 30, for a Hit approximately 1 in 45, and for a Big Hit approximately 1 in 75.
These are minimum values. A Flash Hit is a Booster pack worth more than 30 francs, and a Big Hit is one worth more than 400 francs. These amounts are listed on the product page and on the box label.
The photos on the product page show 19 possible hit boxes featuring 16 different sets, ranging from “Jungle” in the 1. Edition from 1999 to “Primal Clash” and “Emerald Break” from 2015. These are examples, not a definitive list.
Japanese Booster Packs contain fewer cards. A current Japanese pack has 5 cards, while an English one has 10. For the older Packs in the gallery, it’s listed right on the packaging—for example, the Japanese Black & White and XY Packs contain about 5 cards each.
Version 5.0 contains three Boosters instead of two, and the languages have been rearranged: one English Pack and two Japanese Packs instead of English and German. Hit tiers and odds have remained the same.
