The new Albaz Strike Structure Deck was released last week! As usual, the Structure Deck contains a pre-structured deck that will already be very strong out of the box. But how powerful will it really be? Find out in this article!
The deck features many familiar (and sought-after) faces. For example, the hand traps “Effect Veil” and “Ghost Ogre” are included in the deck. Two cards that are still often played. So it can’t hurt to bring them back in a current Structure Deck so that newcomers can get these important cards more easily. They are joined by “Artifact Scythe”, which is a very good counter-weapon for extremely Extra Deck-centered strategies, and “Thunder King, the Lightning Kaiju”, which allows you to simply “tribute” away monsters of your opponent that are protected by effects and are very difficult to remove. There are also three very good “must-haves” among the spell cards: ”Pot of Extravagance”, ”No More Dark Lord” and ”Called from the Grave”. All three are urgently needed for or against various strategies. Finally, there are two more trap cards that are worth mentioning: “Dimensional Barrier” and “There Can Be Only One”. Although these two are not necessarily a “must-have”, they are a “nice-to-have”. The cards fluctuate in relevance from time to time, but when they become relevant, they become really strong.
Of course, the deck doesn’t just include older cards, new cards are also absolutely worth mentioning. The centerpiece of this deck is “Marked Fusion”. This allows the player to use materials from the deck for a Fusion Summon. Do we know that from somewhere? Sure, Shadowpup Fusion showed it back then. This type of fusion ability was and still is very strong and one of the main reasons why this deck is so highly anticipated. It has already established itself as a very good deck in the OCG (Japan).
Conclusion
With 2-3 copies of this deck plus the purchase of some staples (important cards that are used again and again), this deck offers newcomers a relatively simple and uncomplicated way to get a really good deck from the get go. But the deck also offers reasons for die-hard Yu-Gi-Oh! players to buy it. On the one hand, you can add the new “Marked” cards from the deck to your collection and expand your Staple collection a little, so that you don’t always have to laboriously move the individual cards back and forth between the different decks, for example.
If you would also like to get this deck, you can of course find it in our store as always. If you are only looking for specific single cards, these will also be available in our store from 14.04.2022!
