Digimon and Dragon Ball – Bandais Card Games in Switzerland!

Bandai had already produced three different card games in the past: Digimon, Dragon Ball and One Piece. However, these disappeared again after some time, but nobody knows exactly why. On July 28, 2017, Bandai America then launched the newly conceived Dragon Ball Super Collectible Cardgame (=TCG) on the market. Unfortunately not in Japan, as the Dragon Ball Heroes TCG was already big there and they didn’t want to flood the market with two TCGs from the same franchise. At the beginning of 2021, during the corona pandemic, the new Digimon trading card game was also released (Japan + America), which was also a complete success. Now, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of One Piece, a new edition of the 3rd Bandai card game has also been announced: 2022! (You can find a short blog post about it here).

Dragon Ball Super – Collector’s Selection Vol. 2

The Collector’s Selection Vol. 2 will be released this April. It is the spiritual successor to the Collection Selection Vol.1. This collection once again features beautiful reprints of existing cards. For fans of exclusive artwork that also looks incredibly good, this Collection Vol. 2 is absolutely worth it!

Ulimate Deck 2022

Android fans rejoice! In May, the ever-popular Dragon Ball Z Villain Cell gets a new deck. The new Dragon Ball Super Ultimate Deck 2022 brings some new cards for the slightly older green/yellow strategy around the character.

Dragon Ball Super – Ultimate Squad BT17

The next main set of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game will be released in May and marks the end of an era. The Unison block introduced in Set 10 is coming to an end. After just over two years, the next sets will no longer focus on the Unison cards introduced back then. Nevertheless, we still have one last Unison-centered set ahead of us, which will be quite something! At the moment, not all the cards that will be released are known, but it is already clear that we can expect a brilliant end to the Unison Warrior block!

Dragon Ball Super – Ultimate Squad – Premium Pack Set 08

This Unison Warrior main set is again accompanied by a Premium Packs. Each Premium Pack comes with 4 Boosters of the current set + two copies of an exclusive Promo card. As you can see in the picture, this is a King Cold Battle Card. It remains to be seen whether this is “only” support for the Cooler Archetype included in Set 17 or whether it can also be used for the King Cold strategy from Set 13!

Digimon – Booster Display: New Awakening BT8

The display of the next main set: New Awakening! The 8th official set of the game focuses thematically on the second season of the original Digimon Anime. In addition, multicolored cards will be introduced for the first time, which will make the game even more interesting. There will also be a new mechanic that is iconic for the second season of the Anime: DNA Digivolution! Two Digimon that are on the field can evolve together into a new, even stronger Digimon! We are definitely excited to see how this new mechanic will affect the game.
