The Study of Magic – Strixhaven Akademie der Magier will be released next week!

The new Magic the Gathering! set will be released on 23.04.2021. So April will still be magical towards the end.

Strixhaven Akademie der Magier is a 275-card set that has the magician theme as its central element (surprise!). It is a multicolor set that reprints several of the most popular spontaneous spells and sorceries. However, although Strixhaven Akademie der Magier is a Standard set, the cards will still only be legal in the formats in which they were previously legal.

The Strixhaven set consists of 279 different cards with the 63 most popular spontaneous spells and sorceries of all time:

• 109 Commons
• 80 Uncommons
• 69 Rares
• 21 Mythic Rares

Wizard has once again unpacked the entire product range for this set:

From Draft Boosters and Set Boosters to Theme Boosters and Commander Decks, everything is included. The decks will each contain 16 unique cards plus a new land.

The respective themes are made up of the “enemy color combinations”. The various theme decks are then briefly introduced.
