Thematically, the box deals with the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Anime episodes 10-11, in which Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale duel the Paradox Brothers (the older duelists among you probably remember them from the ”Kingdom of the Duelists”, when Joey and Yugi had to compete together against the Paradox Brothers to advance). Accordingly, the box also contains the decks of Jaden and Syrus. Of course, the Paradox Brothers deck is also included. So that four people can play together at the same time, the box also contains Bastion Misawa’s deck. The box also comes with a ”Variant Pack” containing 4/12 Secret Rare cards. Eleven of these cards are completely new for ”Speed Duel” while one, ”Elemental Hero Bubbleman”, is a reprint.

Of course, there are also new ”ability cards” in the usual Speed Duel manner. An absolute must for Speed Duel fans!

So the mini box is definitely a cool ”ad-on” for the original ”Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box”.
