Diseny Lorcana, the hotly anticipated 2023 card game

The long-awaited card game from Disney: Lorcana will soon be released! In August/September, the time has finally come and fans will be able to hold the first Boosters and cards from Lorcana in their hands. But what exactly do we know now? In this article you will get a brief overview of what we already know!

Release date of Disney Lorcana

The TCG will celebrate its release in the Organized Play Stores (as the Uncommon Shop is one) on August 18, 2023. The official release for all other stores and stores will take place on September 01. Disney has announced that Lorcana will have a total of four releases per year. The second and final set for 2023 would therefore be due around November. The initial release includes a total of four different products containing Lorcana cards and a range of accessories in the form of protective sleeves, play mats and folders in which the cards can be stored. The accessories

Before we get to the heart of the game, the cards, we would like to take this opportunity to praise the accessories with their beautiful designs. From somewhat older motifs such as Steamboat Willie to newer ones such as Maui, there are plenty of products to properly protect your future Lorcana treasures.

For all nostalgics and fans of Disney works, there are also some very ”collectible” motifs here.

Disney Lorcana Displays

The heart of every card game: the display! Lo

rcana, of course, to buy one. 12 cards per pack, 24 Booster Packs in one display. The cards will also be available in English and German on release!

Lorcana gift set

What is known as a ”collection” in other TCGs is the so-called gift set in Lorcana. One or in this case even two guaranteed Promo cards plus a few Boosters can be found here. The first gift set contains a cool Mulan Promo card, together with another Hades Promo card.

Lorcana Illumineer’s Trove

The last of the four released products for Lorcana is the so-called Illumineer’s Trove. This comes with a storage box + two deck boxes and three additional Booster Packs to properly store your Lorcana cards. Simple and practical. However, the Illumineers Trove seems to be quite rare at the beginning, as Disney did not expect such a high demand for it.
