Buy (sell) cards

Basically the Uncommon Shop is interested in buying cards in all games. Which cards exactly and how the process looks like you can find out here!

Why the Uncommon Shop?

Uncommon Shop in Romanshorn

The Uncommon Shop is the largest online TCG store selling all three major games and smaller ones (Digimon, Dragonball, etc.). We want to make the passion for TCG's as easy as possible for our customers: One click and everything at a glance. Due to our fast service (delivery within one day) and the uncomplicated way (in case of problems just write to us) we can rightly claim to have already won a very large number of regular customers. This uncomplicated and courteous way we try to bring you also when buying your collection, cards or remainders!

Which cards are purchased?

First, of course, you need to look at which TCG it is.

- Pokémon single cards -

In all TCGs, the cards that you normally have in abundance are not particularly interesting (commons, uncommons), because the purchase and sale of them is hardly worthwhile. In Pokémon all EX, GX, V, etc. and in Yu-Gi-Oh also the more expensive cards.

For what price do we buy?

Since we are a company, we can not buy the cards at market price, of course, because the time of our employees, as well as the associated effort would not be worth it. Who has ever bought or sold collections knows the principle of about 70% of the market value. Thus both sides have something from it. The seller has a quick, easy and effortless handling of the sale and does not have to deal with several sales at the same time, while the buyer (we) are rewarded for the time and risk. Basically, however, there are negotiation bases here as well. It may happen that we are willing to pay 80% for certain cards, while others may be considered at 60%.

Procedure for a sale?

Zuerst einmal ist es am einfachsten mit uns Kontakt aufzunehmen. Schreibe uns dafür am besten eine Mail an [email protected]. Der Aufbau der Mail sollte dabei ca. wie folgt aussehen:

Salutation
Deck of cards being sold (+ short story of how and why you got the cards).
Type of cards with short set listing (e.g.: Mythics and Rares from Strixhaven)
Pictures of the cards so we can take a look.

What happens after your request?

After we have received your mail, we will look at the whole thing within 2-3 three days and write you back how the further procedure looks like. Of course, we will try to answer you as soon as possible, but it may take longer or shorter depending on the nature and scope of the request.

When we get in touch with you, we will send you our offer for your tickets. Of course, a counteroffer can still be made on our offer and we also agree with you if there are legitimate reasons for an objection. If necessary, a personal meeting in the store would be the easiest way to take a closer look at the whole thing. Of course, we also know that it is sometimes not always easy to part with your treasures and the associated memories! Out of respect for your time as well as ours, however, we will not continue the negotiations from a certain point if we realize that we will not find an agreement 🙂

Conclusion of the sale

If we could come to an agreement, it is only a matter of exchanging the cards. Basically, we have to receive the physical product first, before we send you the money in your desired payment method. We as an official store and a big company act 100% serious and will keep our end of the deal in any case. The best would be if you come directly to us, so that we can handle the product and money exchange in one. If this is not possible due to space or time constraints, we recommend that you send the whole thing as a package or registered letter for security reasons. In principle, it is also possible to exchange products with the value of the traded cards. In this case we would send you the products afterwards.

That would have been so far everything to the topic. If you have any suggestions or ideas about things that are not yet covered on this page, feel free to let us know!
