about us - the largest Trading Cards store in switzerland
The Uncommon Shop was born as an idea in the fall of 2018. The original plan was to “only” launch an online store for the oldest Trading Cards game, Magic: The Gathering. Over time, more and more games were added: From Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! to newer games such as Digimon and Dragonball.
It all began in the original apartment of the founder, Pascal Stalder. Due to a lack of space, the “warehouse” continued to develop. Less than two years passed from the garage business to the first small store with additional storage space in Romanshorn at Bahnhofstrasse 4.
Current store:
At the beginning of 2021, we were able to move to our current address, Bahnhofstrasse 16 in 8590 Romanshorn! With a large storefront on the main street and an even larger warehouse in the back, the Uncommon Shop is now the largest online TCG store in Switzerland. No other store offers such a large selection of games and accessories as we do!
A unique selling point of the Uncommon Shop is the fact that every order is delivered to you, the customer, by 16:00 the next day at the latest (excluding weekends and public holidays)! For more about shipping see here.
Since 2024, we have moved the physical store from Bahnhofstrasse 16 to Aleestrasse 25, as we can now offer much more space. Where the store used to be is now our office and vice versa. See locations & opening hours for more.
After the renovation, we can currently accommodate up to 66 people, which is a blessing for parallel tournaments and events. Since November 2024, the Uncommon Shop has also been at home in Schaffhausen. A cute little store with lots of charm that knows how to inspire with little. See here.
Since 2025, we’ve been going full throttle when it comes to Twitch streaming and are live for you every Friday at 19:00. Come by and take a look, secure your deals and become part of our streaming community!

Vincenzo, 36
Vincenzo is the manager. Thanks to his attention to detail and his conscientiousness at work, everything is always in perfect condition. Due to his very communicative nature and the joy he radiates, there is no one who could not like him - the perfect salesman.
Pascal, 30
Pascal is a trained banker and founder of the Uncommon Shop. Due to his long time in the business and the fact that he is mainly responsible for purchasing, he has a very broad knowledge of the product range and the various games. He always has great new ideas (such as the Selecta vending machine with Pokémon Boosters in front of our store - check it out!) and is on the lookout for potential innovation opportunities for our store!
Aki, 30
is the deputy to the managing director and is responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly in Vincenzo's absence. With his degree in marketing, Aki can also always be found on social media. With his attention to detail and his sense of humor, Aki has become an integral part of our team.
Ariol, 28
With his relaxed manner and penchant for accuracy, he has become an indispensable part of everyday business life. Ariol is also known from the Friday streams on Twitch and is responsible for logistics in the Uncommon Shop. Listing, customizing and reordering products are his core tasks.
Melvin, 23
Melvyn is a Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiast and an absolute all-rounder. Melvin takes care of everything in our store and also has a great deal of knowledge about the various TCGs. Whether it's helping with sales, at the front of the store, processing orders or when he's just helping out with our Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments every Saturday, he is always there and always ready to lend a hand.
Jackie, 32
Thanks to their attention to detail and penchant for cleanliness and presentation, the local store in Romanshorn always looks good at the front.
Every Saturday, she runs our local store in Romanshorn and serves our customers with heart and soul.
Döme, 36
Döme was originally the face of the store in Schaffhausen. Now he is our first employee working abroad. He currently lives in Brazil with his better half and helps us with administrative work wherever he can.
Luke, 28
Lukas is the current lord and master of the Schaffhausen store. MI-SA Lukas serves our customers in the Schaffhausen store. With his relaxed and friendly manner, he is the favorite of many customers.
Julius, 17
Julius is our first intern. With his very mature and open manner, he enjoys being part of the stream even at his young age. During the week, he is involved in packing and sending parcels. Recently, he has also taken over some of the Friday Nights in Magic the Gathering!
Ilir, 28
Ilir is our latest addition to the Uncommon Shop. Some will know Ilir from his own streams or under the pseudonym "Mr. Smoke". Ilir is responsible for the shipping and coordinates everything that goes with it. Usually once a week, either on Tuesday or Friday, you can see him in our stream.
