The ,,Ancient Guardians” set has been officially announced!

The official Konami website has already announced some product details. Among them is the name of the new Synchro theme deck, which debuts in this set!

Called “Ursarctic” in English, it will probably be a play on words with “Arctic” here in Germany. The theme is described as follows:

Finally, a new theme with a type of Synchro Summon so cool it will send shivers down your opponent’s spine! The ‘Ursarctic’ monsters thrive in sub-zero temperatures and use a special way to summon Synchro Monsters. Instead of looking at the sum of the levels of the Receiver and Non-Receiver monsters, it is the difference in levels that matters here! It is important to note that this is not a Synchro Summon!”

The “Ursarctic” theme is about water monsters or monster warriors with an attack or defense power of 700 ATK/DEF.

Each Booster will contain 7 cards, with the entire set consisting of 60 cards. These are:

• 10 Ultra Rares
• 15 Super Rares
• 35 Rares

15 cards are also available as Collector’s Rares
