The new Pokémon set SWSH7 is called Evolving Skies

Just like the upcoming June set Schaurige Herrschaft/Chilling Reign, it is likely that Evolving Skies will be a combination of multiple Japanese releases. This time, the sets in question should be Towering Perfection and Sky Stream, each containing 67 cards.

Towering Perfection will focus on Single Strike cards and will be led by Duraludon VMAX, while Sky Stream will retain its namesake and introduce Rayquaza VMAX along with new Rapid Strike cards. Both sets will be released in the OCG on July 9, in line with the schedule for bundling into a TCG set a month later.

Based on this, we could also see cards from the Eevee Heroes special set added to the card list as well. Pokémon TCG publication PokéBeach pointed out that the evolving theme could be added to the Eevee Heroes list. Otherwise, these cards will likely appear in the sets for November or 25 years later this year.

The “Evolving” in the name could refer to Eevee Heroes or this set being an Evolution of Roaring Skies. I also feel like a set with the Eeveelutions would focus solely on them instead of sharing the spotlight with another popular Pokemon like Rayquaza. There’s also the Eevee from Eevee Heroes, which features Rayquaza. This gives Evolving Skies, including Eevee Heroes, credibility.

The set includes:

• Over 200 cards
• 18 powerful Pokémon V and 15 giant Pokémon VMAX
• 33 Pokémon V in Full Art
• 5 Full Art supporter cards
• Dragon-type Pokémon return with a new look
• More new Single Strike and Rapid Strike cards
• 24 trainer cards and a new special energy card
