We offer different PPE tiers for every need:

Preparation of your cards:
You can hand in your cards in person at the shop in Romanshorn / Schaffhausen or send them well packaged by post to The Uncommon Shop GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 16, 8590 Romanshorn
IMPORTANT: Please download the following document here and fill it out completely. Print out the document and send it with your cards by post. Please enclose your order confirmation enclosed!
Examination & advice (optional):
If you wish, we can examine your cards in advance – we will tell you honestly whether grading is worthwhile.
Secure shipment to PSA:
We take care of the entire process: shipping, customs, submission and communication with PSA.
Wait patiently & be happy:
PSA currently takes approx. 4-6 months for the assessment, depending on the service level selected.
Receive your graded cards:
As soon as your cards are back, we will inform you immediately – you can pick them up or we will send them to you insured.
Questions and answers about the grading service
Do I have to worry about anything?
No – you give us the tickets, we take care of everything. No customs, no forms, no stress.
Is there a minimum number of tickets?
No. We are also happy to accept individual tickets.
Can I reject cards if they have been rated too poorly?
No – PSA evaluates neutrally and finally. Withdrawal after grading is not possible.
Is my card insured during the process?
Yes, we treat your cards with the utmost care and send everything insured.
When will my tickets be sent to PSA after they arrive?
We always prepare and send out the PSA submissions in the first week of each month. For you, this means that your cards must reach us by the last working day of the previous month at the latest in order to be sent with this submission – submissions that we receive later will be sent to PSA in the following month.
What is grading and why should I have my cards graded?
Grading involves having your trading cards checked for condition and authenticity by a professional grading company (such as PSA). The cards are then sealed in a transparent case to protect them from external influences – the condition of the card is also applied to the case with a label.
You can have your trading cards graded for various reasons:
- Protection of the condition by the closure in the case
- Any increase in the value of the card (through proof of good condition)
- Confirmation of the authenticity of the card
- You like the look of graded cards in a case
Optional testing & advice from us. What is it exactly?
When you choose your grading package (Value, Economy, Regular), you can also add the “Check & Advice” option to your shopping cart for CHF 25. With this addition, we will take a close look at your cards and let you know if we think that certain cards are not worth grading. If you agree with us, we will of course refund you the price for the grading of the card you originally wanted. The price of CHF 25 applies to all the cards you send us as one unit.

The Uncommon Shop GmbH assumes no liability for damage and/or loss of customer submissions until the time of receipt by The Uncommon Shop GmbH. Any lead times quoted relate solely to the processing by PSA, are purely
estimates and cannot be guaranteed. All shipments must be paid in full before being sent to PSA
– After successful payment, the cards will be sent to PSA with the next possible
shipment.
