Theros Beyond Death – Everything about the release of the new set.

The new set “Theros Jenseits des Todes / Theros Beyond Death” will soon be released on January 24, 2020. Here we briefly show you what you can expect.

There have been no changes to the following products since Throne of Eldraine.

Sammler Booster / Collector Booster

The collector’s Boosters that first appeared in the Throne of Eldraine set were a complete success and are now entering their second round. The most striking change is the price. Unfortunately, this has been significantly increased.

As far as the contents of the Collector Boosters are concerned, it looks like this:

2 Foil Basic Nyx Lands
8 Foil Common, Uncommon or non-Nyx countries
1 “Ancillary Card” which can come from Planeswalker Decks, Theme Boosters and Buy-a-Box Promo.
1 non Foil Rares or Mythic with extended card edge.
1 Foil Rare or Mythic with extended card edge or normal version.
1 non Foil Saga or Constellation Showcase card (also Full-Art Planeswalkers)
1 Foil Constellation Showcase card (1 of 5 Uncommon Demigods, 1 of 6 Showcase Rares or 1 of 3 Full-Art Planeswalkers)
1 Foil Token

It is still unclear what is up with the NON-Nyx Basic Lands. It has been publicly communicated that each Theros Beyond Death Draft Booster contains a full-art Nyx land. Accordingly, these lands must be unique, which can be found in the Collector Boosters. We are excited.

Theme Booster Packs

Something interesting is happening here. Until now, the Theme Booster Packs were not so interesting for most Magic players. Especially for players who have been playing for a while.
