The Challengers are coming!

On April 2nd the time has finally come: The new Magic the Gathering! Challenger Decks 2021 will be released.

These are four different decks that have been developed for the Standard format and come ready to play. All of the cards included have already been printed for the Standard format and are legal.

In this article, we will briefly introduce you to the four different strategies and discuss the core elements of the decks.

Azorius Control:

Dominate the early stages of the game with your spontaneous spells and scry your deck until you can draw your desired cards to make life difficult for your opponent with an army of flying creatures!

Dimir Rogues:

Make sure that your opponent can only look at his cards from the graveyard and then use them to your own advantage. Prevent every plan your opponent has devised and ambush him with his own weapons!

Mono Red Aggro:

Unleash the fire and head straight for your opponent. If you love damage of any kind, this deck will quickly satisfy you. Put pressure on your opponents so that they have to do everything they can to keep you in check, right up to the point where you play your ace cards like Embercleave, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell or Bonecrusher Giant.

Mono-Green Stompy:

Body and soul for creatures? Then overrun your opponents with a horde of warriors, beasts and giants. Shake the enemy with every new creature that enters the battlefield. You only know two phases, the quake and the silence where the dust settles.
