Pokémon SWSH5 officially announced and is called: Kampfstile

We have some interesting news about the fifth expansion (SWSH5) of Schwert & Schild. The new set will be called Schwert & Schild: Kampfstile and in English: Battle Styles

The Kampfstile set will be released on March 19, 2021 and contains over 160 cards.

Do you want to knock out your opponent with a single powerful blow or would you prefer to win with clever, technical attacks that keep your opponent on their toes? Soon you’ll be spoiled for choice, because the Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion Sword & Shield – Kampfstile will be released on March 19, 2021. In this expansion, an exciting new game mechanic called Kampfstile makes its debut, introducing two different types of attacks: Focused Attack and Flowing Attack. The former is the Pokémon equivalent of a knockout punch. The second type is similar to a chess game, where tactical attacks are used to slowly but surely prepare your victory.

Focused Attack cards have a red background and Flowing Attack cards have a blue background. In addition, there are Trainer and Energy cards in the Focused Attack and Flowing Attack styles so that Trainers can design a deck according to the Kampfstile of their choice.

The extension Sword & Shield – Kampfstile contains Kampfstile Pokémon such as Focused Attack Wulaosu-V, Flowing Attack Wulaosu-V, Focused Attack Despotar-V, and Flowing Attack Impoleon-V. If you combine the familiar VMAX mechanics with the new Kampfstiles, you’ll get Focused Attack Wulaosu VMAX and Flowing Attack Wulaosu VMAX in their Gigadynamax form.
