It’s on fire!

It’s not just summer that’s getting hot. The name of the set says it all: Pokémon Obsidianflammen brings with it a lot of fire and dragon Pokémon in the form of new ex cards. First and foremost, of course, Glurak and its sub-evolutions Glutexo and Glumanda. The design of the products also looks absolutely fantastic and is sure to delight fans (including Sealed Collectors).

Red-hot embers light up the pitch-black night and sparks flare into an inferno as Charizard ex bursts forth with newfound powers of darkness! The glittering Terastal phenomenon gives some Pokémon ex like Tyranitar, Eiscue, and Vespiquen different types than usual, while Dragonite ex and Greedent ex show that they can master their own inner strengths. Revavroom ex, Melmetal ex, and more Pokémon promise to change the course of battle in the Scarlet & Purple Obsidianflammen expansion!

Will the set be good?

Pokémon Obsidianflammen SV03 definitely has the potential to be a very good set. Basically, it can be said that sets that include a Glurak usually perform well and also contain many chase cards in normal cases. It gets even better when a Glurak can be seen on the sealed products. At this point, two important points for a strong set are already covered. But the fact that other popular Pokémon such as Despotar or Dragoran can be found in the set also makes collectors’ hearts beat faster. How exactly the set will perform in the end is of course still an open question.
