Massive changes with the “Throne of Eldraine” set

As in the last set, the Hauptset 2020, there are also noticeable changes here. Where the adjustments in the Hauptset 2020 were met with great joy, I see more black here. As many of you have probably already noticed, there are some new products. Personally, I very much welcome seeing new products, which brings a certain variety. I’m particularly excited about the Collector Boosters. But now for a brief summary of what new products to expect:

Collector Booster:

Contents:

– 1 rare/fabulously rare card with extended illustration – 1 rare/fabulously rare premium card – 9 common/not-so-common premium cards – 3 cards with a special card border (Planeswalker without border or “exhibition” cards) – 1 supplementary card (non-premium print of any ELD card that is otherwise not included in conventional ELD booster packs, e.g. the “Buy-a-Box” promo card) – 1 premium token card

“The Collector Booster is aimed at the player who values collecting the cards. We expect these Collector Boosters to be between 20 and 25 US dollars per booster. However, this will depend on your region and where you purchase. It’s designed to offer the best value for money if you want to collect hard-to-find cards. You’ll have more access to Foil cards as well as the various treatments I talked about above. Plus, it’s the only Booster where you can get cards with expanded graphics.”

Brawl Deck:

– Highlander deck with 60 standard-legal cards (each card only once, except standard lands) – 7 standard-legal cards not included in conventional Thron von Eldraine booster packs – 1 premium card of a legendary creature not included in Thron von Eldraine booster packs – 1 life point wheel – 1 strategy guide

Brawl Decks are ready-to-play decks of 60 cards, all Standard legal and designed specifically for the Brawl format. Four decks are available and each contains seven Standard legal cards not found in Thron von Eldraine booster packs.

Now for the most important change!

The price increases drastically. Due to the increased purchase prices in this set, I am giving an estimate here of what the effective market price of the respective products could be. Please bear in mind that the purchase prices for retailers are already fixed and that I am merely making an assumption as to the price at which they will be sold.
