Yu-Gi-Oh! has a few important releases coming up in the next few months. Find out which ones here! If you don’t want to read through this article, you can find everything here at a glance.
April
April has only one release – but a long-awaited one. After several postponements, the new Albaz Strike Structure Deck is finally coming to the TCG on 14.04.2022. The deck is already very strong out of the box, it seems. Two of the deck + any staples such as Effect Veiler or a few of the ghost girls and you already have a meta-capable deck at the start.
May
Ghost from the Past enters its second round. Iconic cards in Ghost Rares reissues will hit the stores again on 05.05.2022. The perfect set for collectors and nostalgics. It may also contain one or two useful cards for players
In mid-May, on 19.05.2022, we will continue with the main sets. Dimension Force brings support for old and new Pendelum decks as well as Zombie decks and other old archetypes.
June
June brings us a little cooling for the summer with Duelist Mako Tsunami and the Legendary Duelists: Duels from the Deep set themed around him. The set, announced on June 9, 2022, promises several new Water monsters, support for the Rank-up mechanic and associated XYZ monsters, as well as a Ghost Rares of a well-known Water monster! Could this perhaps be the Legendary Fisherman? We are curious.
Alongside the Legendary Duelists set comes another side set: Tactical Masters. It promises renewed support for Pendulum strategies and a brand new approach to a Pendulum deck. The set is relatively small with its 60 cards, which makes it easier to get all the cards you want.
The 3rd Legendary Duelists Season Box will conclude in June (23.06.2022). This time in red and themed around Yami Yugi and Bakura, the box will include support for old archetypes such as Dark Mage, HERO, Synchrons and more. Also a very small set with a total of 37 different cards.
That’s it for the Yu-Gi-Oh releases here in Switzerland until the end of June. Hopefully this article has given you a brief overview of what’s coming and what you can look forward to!
