Phyrexia – All will be One – Presentation of the set

Phyrexia – All will be One is the latest Magic set that awaits us in February 2023.

Set release: 03.02.2023

A brief digression into history:

The Planeswalkers who had gathered to stop the Phyrexians on Dominaria lost – badly. They failed to thwart the Phyrexians’ plans to stop heroes from valiantly fighting their oldest enemies. Now the Phyrexians have set their sights on every single world in the multiverse and plan to invade them all. The only hope left now is to take them out on their homeworld and destroy the means by which the Phyrexians plan their invasion of the multiverse. The risk of some – all – of the heroes falling victim to the Phyrexians is high, but for everyone else the stakes are even higher.

For the heroes who face this danger, it’s now or never. Planeswalkers join forces and set off for New Phyrexia to put an end to the threat of invasion once and for all. A total of ten Planeswalkers appear as new cards in Phyrexia: All Becomes One, although only history will reveal which heroes are ready to fight the Phyrexians and which will join the Phyrexians in complete perfection.

We’ll also get to see some familiar Planeswalkers in the new Phyrexia Magic set. In fact, 10 of them!

  • Jace, the mind shaper
  • Kaito Shizuki
  • Kaya the unstoppable
  • Koth, flame of resistance
  • Lukka, outcast of the copper jackets
  • Nahiri, heiress of the ancients
  • Nissa, shaker of the world
  • Tyvar Kell
  • Vraska, eminence of the swarm
  • The Wandering Empress

But that’s not all. We see reprints of New Mirrodin Block (New Phyrexia) and reinterpretations of older cards.

The cards look really cool, I have to admit. I also think the full-art countries in the set are sweet as sugar 🙂

Last but not least, as if the new Magic set wasn’t already “loaded” enough, regular playable cards are also included in the set as reprints of Secret Lairs.

I (Pascal) had personally started with the Magic the Gathering Set : New Phyrexia. Back then as a boy. Which is why I’m very excited about a return!

Personally, I’m really looking forward to the set. What do you think?
